FAQ

What is a zine?
A zine is an anthology of fanworks, usually containing both visual art and written work. Zines are often centered around a single theme, created collaboratively by fans, and published independently.

What is Hyrule Apocrypha?
Hyrule Apocrypha is a fic-centric zine focusing on these lost tales of Hyrule. From forgotten mythology to unexplored history, this zine expands upon canon lore and fills in the blanks with interpretations of how certain events may have come to pass. We brought together an amazing group of 44 writers, artists, musicians, and even a chef, culminating in an anthology that looks, reads, and feels like a real piece of Hyrule's history!

What is included in this zine?
Hyrule Apocrypha features fanfiction and poetry, with each written piece accompanied by smaller spot illustrations and full-page artworks! Other types of fanworks, such as recipes and music, are also included in this zine. Finally, there will be both digital and physical merch items, ranging from stickers and stationery items to acrylic keychains and standees, with 4 different preorder bundles available.

Is Hyrule Apocrypha a for-profit or charity zine?
This zine will be for charity. While funds will also be used to help pay for contributor bundles, the remaining proceeds will be donated to Fundación Pablo Horstmann and their “Let Children Study” scholarship, giving necessary funds to support the education of vulnerable children in Ethiopia. Read more about our selected charity.

Are there any stretch goals or preorder-exclusive items?

When will orders be shipped?

What postal carrier will you be using?
